I admit it, I am a romantic at heart. I just LOVE a good romantic movie. I smile, laugh, and cry, and just love seeing two people in love. I was so excited to see the movie Dear John. Yes, I know it's been out for a while, but hey when you have 3 kids things take a while. So ML rented it for me/us and it literally just ended.
I am very angry and upset inside. Why can't there be any movies/books with good endings???? I mean COME ON!!!! The first half of the movie was awesome, and so romantic. But why mess up the ending??? Their is so much crap going on in this world, give me a good ending. Is that asking too much???? NO, I don't think it is.

I hate to tell you this but at the end of the book her husband is actually healed from the financial donation and they never hook up. I agree with you 100%, however sounds like I would take the movie ending over the book.
Are you serious???? That would have sucked even more, glad they did change the ending and that I didn't read the book :).
I actually liked the book better. When I finished the book I felt good that he did something good for the woman he loved. Totally selfless act! I agree though...the movie had a terrible ending!
