Say What?

My very cute, adorable, almost 3 year old, just yelled at the dog saying:

" YOU ARE A DOG, NOT A CAT!"

My Singer

Annabelle just LOVES to sing.  She pretty much sings all the time.  Here she was one night bouncing and singing on our bed (sorry of the quality, not sure what my cell is doing).  This was like the 8th time singing and she was still all full of energy.

So True!

This is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!  This lady is so good and her message is so true.  You ain't got 'nothing if you ain't got Jesus!

Have a blessed day!

Guide Me

This is from our Associate Pastor, he sends out a daily devotional and this just really hit home and I wanted to share it.  Hope it encourages you too...and reminds you of who is really in control of our lives.

Better To Cling Than Get Calloused
It is so easy for me to get bitter and hard hearted
by my circumstances!  May I respond how Asaph did here...
"Yet I still belong to You;  You are holding my right hand.
You will keep on guiding me with Your counsel,
leading me to a glorious destiny.
Whom have I in heaven but You?
I desire You more than anything on earth.
My health may fail and my spirit may grow weak,
but God remains the strength of my heart; He is mine forever.
But as for me, how good it is to be near God."
(Psalm 73:23-26, 27a)

Worry

Be anxious for nothing,
but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.
Philippians 4:6

As much faith as I have in God, there are those days that I worry more than I should.  And those days, I really talk to God to try and get the worrying out of my head.  Today was one of those days, and it was justified to be concerned.  My left breast has been hurting for the last week and has a "lump" or something in it.  (Of course, it doesn't help that my mom is a breast cancer survivor.)  I was able to get into the doctor today and she doesn't think I have anything to worry about, but I do have a mammogram and ultrasound scheduled for next week to be sure.

Just because the doctor doesn't think I should worry, I shouldn't worry because God is in control...of EVERYTHING!!!!!  Every tiny detail, HE is in control of.  HE is the everlasting God, the ultimate healer, HE is everything.  So whatever might be going on in your life right now, don't worry...seriously, God has got it under control and we just need to sit back and let Him work.

Kidism

It finally happened, my 8 year old (almost 9) said it, "Mommy you are weird!"  She actually told me and my mother-in-law that we were weird because we both knew Sesame Street songs.  But it hit to the core...she is growing up :(.
