Bug Drama

It's that time of year my girls start freaking out, literally.  And they have now freaked out Little A. enough that she cries every night at bed and pulls her covers up to her chin and hides.  She calls me in over and over saying "Mommy I need you" as she points at invisible bugs that she thinks are in her room.  We aren't talking about spiders or scorpions or mosquitoes, we are talking FLIES!  Regular flies and crane flies.

I mean seriously, FLIES!  Now I can understand why crane flies might look scary, but we have explained that they are harmless.  Unlike we thought, they don't eat mosquitoes.  They basically just fly around, doing nothing.  Adults don't even eat, they just mate and lay eggs. (Boy wouldn't that kinda be fun :).

Our sympathy is gone for the big girls and we really wish they would stop scary their little sister.  I mean GET OVER the flies!  They are JUST flies.
